There's no better place to learn to kayak than on Ecuador's warm Eastern tropical rivers. This course, with our qualified instructors will introduce you to the wonders of whitewater kayaking. This course starts with the basic techniques of whitewater kayaking and builds on those techniques with lots of on-river time. More advanced techniques are introduced daily as your confidence in whitewater increases. By the end of the course you should be ready to read and run grade III rapids (under supervision of more experienced paddlers!).

Double the runs means double the fun! This is the most popular rafting package. The great combination of two different rivers, the Toachi and the Blanco will allow you to experience both the action of thrilling whitewater and the tranquility of drifting silently through the Western lowland tropical rainforest. Recommended for all level of experience, even newcomers.

The Quijos river has become Ecuador's premier whitewater trip with kilometers of class IV-IV+ rapids and spectacular rainforest and basalt canyon scenery. Expect to run more whitewater in a day than you'd do in a week elsewhere. This trip is recommended for experienced rafters or true adventure seekers.

A journey down the Upano river is a very special adventure and will allow you to experience the many moods of a jungle river. Our adventure starts with numerous shallow channels where we will have to choose a route. The pace steadily increases until the river plunges into the magnificent Namangosa Gorge. Here we tackle rapids up to grade IV+ in the midst of virgin rainforest and waterfalls cascading from the lip of the gorge. Finally, the river broadens and deepens to become a calm but powerful giant on it´s way to meet the Amazon river. One of the many highlights of this trip is the night we spend camped by an Indigenous Shuar settlement, allowing us to learn about the Shuar way of life.
