Ecuador is an ideal place for exploring the world by horseback, offering endless trails, old roads, open pastures and rolling hills. You can put on your cowboy hat and ride around “Chagra” style through open fields and herds of llamas or descend old trading routes used by the Incas. You can also ride beneath towering volcanoes or deep in the mystical cloud forest. Whatever your interests, w e customize itineraries and riding level to meet the specific needs of your group.

This overnight Llama trek involves camping and will take us down the Garcia Moreno trail, which in the 1,800’s was the main trail to the coast from Quito. Accompanied by llamas to carry our gear, we will wind around the flanks of Pichincha crater and into prime Cloud forest until we reach the green meadows of the crystal river, where we will set up camp. This crystal clear river is filled with boulders and large pools teaming with trout. This is an ideal place to fish and if you’re brave enough to shrug off the cold water, to swim. The following day we will do some short hikes along the river and then return the same way we came.

With endless rolling hills, steep mountains and Pacific breezes, topped off with great sunny equatorial weather, makes Ecuador a fabulous place to fly. In the Andes Fly over indigenous communities alongside condors or on the coast with endless ridge flying the gentle sea breezes alongside the seagulls. Taking advantage of the perfect coastal weather, we can offer intensive but fun effective flight courses. Course includes theory classes by the beach, tandem flights and short flights with in the first day. Within a couple of days, you will be soaring over the ridges using the gentle sea breezes to fly for hours on your own. More advanced course are offered after the completion of this course in the Andes to learn about thermal techniques.

This option is offered with the purpose of designing your own, full excitement and adrenaline tour combining Mountain biking, horseback riding and trekking.
